Who we are
Rubén Hornillo
Rubén is a Cuban-American filmmaker and content creator born and raised in Spain and based in Los Angeles since 2010. An AFI Producing Fellow, his first big project was the feature film God’s Slave, an Argentina-Venezuela- Uruguay co-production that won awards at reputable festivals like Santa Barbara and Huelva Latin American Film Fest and had theatrical distribution.
After living in Spain, Istanbul and South Korea, Rubén developed a passion for social change and multiculturalism. He worked in the launch of KBS World Latino, the Spanish- language network of Korea’s public broadcaster, helping adapt their content for Latin American audiences. As a Millennial, Rubén lead the way for US mobile content in Spanish producing content for La Musica, a music streaming app that publishes 55 video pieces per week. He recently premiered his feature documentary, Spanish Exile, a crowdfunded production that tells the story of his generation of Spaniards that is currently in the midst of its festival run.
Georgina Rodríguez
Georgina was born in Cuba, spent her early childhood in Spain, grew up and studied in the U.S., and has worked, studied and lived in different countries around the world. She is currently based in Spain, where she is an experienced Content Creator & Website Developer, Interactive Digital & Social Media Strategist, Localization Copywriter and Translator focused on providing solutions in English and Spanish to clients in diverse sectors. She creates Content, develops Interactive Digital Products and Digital & Social Media Campaigns for multicultural targets from inception to completion for Financial and Banking Institutions, Healthcare Industry, Entertainment Industry, Government Agencies, Publishing Industries, Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Fashion & Luxury Industry, Political Parties, SMEs, Foundations, Nonprofits, Official Organisms & Institutions, Academic Institutions and Cultural Projects.
